Homecare Gurus Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable and professional Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our growing team supporting clients in their own homes.
This is a rewarding community-based role where you will help people maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing through high-quality person-centred care.
What you’ll do
Provide personal care and practical support in clients’ homes
Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, meals and medication
Promote independence, dignity and choice
Complete care notes and report any changes or concerns
Travel between client visits in the local area
What we’re looking for

Good communication and record-keeping skills
Ability to work independently in the community
Previous care experience is preferred
Driver with access to a vehicle is preferred

Please note: due to the nature of this live-in placement, including living in the client’s home, supporting with personal routines such as oral hygiene, and respecting the client’s dignity, privacy and personal preferences, this role is open to female applicants only.

Live-in placements may vary depending on client needs. Typical placements may include:
1 week on / 3 weeks off, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 3 weeks on / 1 week off, or other agreed rota patterns.
Rest breaks will be provided in line with the client’s care needs and agreed working arrangements.

We are now looking for a caring, organised and motivated individual to join us as either a Registered Manager or Registered Manager Designate. This role may suit an experienced Registered Manager looking for a flexible or part-time opportunity, or a strong Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, Field Care Supervisor or Senior Care professional ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role
We are open to appointing either:
·An experienced Registered Manager who is ready to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care service; or
·A Registered Manager Designate who is currently working as a Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Carer or similar, and is ready to progress into a Registered Manager role with support.
If appointed as a Registered Manager Designate, you will receive support and guidance to prepare for the role, develop your management skills and complete the CQC Registered Manager application process when both you and the provider feel you are ready.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to progress in adult social care and help shape a growing domiciliary care service. It is also a largely autonomous role and will involve a significant amount of lone working. The successful candidate will need to be confident managing their own workload, prioritising tasks and working independently while keeping clear communication with the provider and wider team.
You will be expected to plan your week effectively, stay on top of compliance tasks, follow up actions without being prompted and maintain accurate records in line with company and CQC requirements.
