It is vacuum-formed from a lightweight polymer of high fatigue resistance and is produced in a range of sizes. The AFO is available in a white colour for discreet wear. The foot section is designed to fit the interior contours of suitable footwear, which allows the wearer a normal and naturally comfortable ‘foot in the shoe’ fit without any adverse correction. A sturdy heel section fits snugly into the shoe, giving the wearer maximum support and comfort. The calf strap allows for a wide range of calf circumferences to be accommodated and is easily attached by either hand using the touch ‘n’ close fastening.”
